Our Team

Wayne and Jeny

The Monson's journey begins with a church missions trip to Guatemala in 1989. They fell in love with the Guatemalan people, saw a great need and with God’s strong leading, moved to Antigua, Gua in 1993. They are the founders of Extreme Missions International and full time missionaries. They love the Guatemalan people, they love being in the ministry and they love working with teams!!

Joshua and Ada

Joshua’s first missions trip was to Guatemala in 1989. After pastoring in northern MN, he felt God leading him here to do missions and it’s where he met his wife, Ada. Together they’re in missions full-time, along with raising their two sons. They enjoy working with teams.

Andres

Andres has his Theology degree with an emphasis in Missions. He joined EMI as a missionary and also works with other ministries as a translator and is a Co-Pastor of a church in Antigua.

Jorge and Luis

Jorge is our construction manager of all of our projects. Luis is a block layer and welder working together with Jorge - what a team!!

David L’Heureux

David has been with us since the beginning of EMI. He is currently our treasurer and also helps oversee our accounting service.
